The above painting, Morning Light, has just sold.  It is one of my favorite works.  I struggled to keep the colors cool and reflective of light on the beach at an early hour.  I am so pleased that my new friends in Texas enjoy the subtlety of this piece.  Artists I admire tell me they like this painting, a combination of reality and abstraction working to create a feel for the scene.

Thank you Kim and Doug for the purchase and thank you for sharing your son for the summer.  Justin is a catcher on the summer collegiate team the Sharks of Martha's Vineyard.  He and another teammate, Jip, will live with us for the season.
