The long, long winter, coupled with my studio being snowed in, led me to play with a little app downloaded for the enjoyment of my two year old niece.  I've had such fun drawing tons of funny little ideas as well as scenes from the lives of my flowers.

I was delighted to be a part of Featherstone Center for the Arts Studio Tour of island artists.  My sister Kim and friends Susan and Kanta toured six of the tour stops.  Enjoy their photos and enjoyment of the wonderful studios they visited.  Click here to see the tour.

Brazilian Jazz hit Martha's Vineyard last night. Boston duo Greta Bro and Luciano DeSilva played at the plein-air art show at The Workshop in Vineyard Haven. Officially titled 'Art, Jazz & Prosecco' the event was well attended and three more paintings were sold. The music perfectly matched the captivating and peaceful plein-air paintings. Come visit. We close tomorrow evening, Friday 9/19, with more prosecco and peanuts. The closing celebration with all of our eight participating artists (save Kate Taylor who is performing in NYC) will begin at 6pm and run till we run out of the bubbly.

The 10 island artists participating in this show begin their final week plein-air painting on the island.  We're painting in Katama and Menemsha 

and on a private farm in Chilmark.  

Come to our opening reception!
