Brazilian Jazz hit Martha's Vineyard last night. Boston duo Greta Bro and Luciano DeSilva played at the plein-air art show at The Workshop in Vineyard Haven. Officially titled 'Art, Jazz & Prosecco' the event was well attended and three more paintings were sold. The music perfectly matched the captivating and peaceful plein-air paintings. Come visit. We close tomorrow evening, Friday 9/19, with more prosecco and peanuts. The closing celebration with all of our eight participating artists (save Kate Taylor who is performing in NYC) will begin at 6pm and run till we run out of the bubbly.

and on a private farm in Chilmark.

Plein-Air Big Time

Watch for news here.  Kanta Lipsky and I are organizing our third plein-air event on Martha's Vineyard. Eleven artists are participating.  All have agreed to paint three pre-selected island locations over a three week period this summer.  Our opening reception will be held Friday September 12 at the new gallery The Workshop in Vineyard Haven. We start painting August 20.  I'll post our locations in case you'd like to stop by to watch works in progress.
